Perm company "Virtual Production Systems" will receive more than 255 million rubles from the NTI Project Support Fund
The company will receive 255.2 million rubles from the Project Support Fund of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) for the implementation of its project to organize a Virtual Factory. The remaining funds for the project - the company plans to attract at the expense of private investors. The company’s own funds will be invested in the project. According to experts, the value of the company in 3 years may reach more than 1.5 billion rubles. and will grow exponentially.
The project committee of the STI Project Support Fund (it included representatives of the Strategic Initiatives Agency for the Promotion of New Projects, the Russian Venture Company, the STI Project Support Fund, the Skolkovo Fund, the representatives of the working groups of the STI markets and other interested organizations) approved the project of Virtual Production Systems LLC "" Aggregator of network distributed production facilities. " The project of the Perm company is aimed at creating an aggregator - a “virtual plant management and a production operator of the full cycle of order execution” for contract manufacturing and order management built on the basis of Big Data and Machine Learning.
Total from 2016 to 2018 In Russia, 31 projects received funding from the STI Project Support Fund. 14 applications were submitted to finance the NTI Project Support Fund from the Perm Territory. VPS LLC is the first Perm company to receive approval from the NTI Project Committee. “Virtual production systems” are being developed with the support of the Agency for Investment Development (a structural unit of the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Investments), on the basis of which the Project Office for the implementation of STI in Perm Region has been operating since 2019.
According to the head of the Virtual Factory project Oleg Ponomarev, the aggregator infrastructure should be created by 2022: “We are developing new forms of production organization. The solution implemented in the project is at the junction of the real and digital world. In fact, we are creating a cyber-physical an organization where real production facilities (machines) located anywhere in the world are integrated into the network using the technology of the industrial Internet of things.The task of the “virtual factory” is to provide for 72 hours to place an order from anywhere in the world, plan production, assign tasks, control the execution of an order and issue component parts for further assembly at a geographic location specified by the customer.We set ourselves the task of at least not combining digital production and supply chain planning into a single environment by 2026 less than 2350 CNC machines, 3D printing, injection molding and others, connecting to it production located not only in Russia but also abroad. "
The project is implemented in the logic of the “Technet” NTI market and solves technological barriers associated with the direction “Creation, development and promotion of advanced technologies, products and services that ensure the priority positions of Russian companies in emerging global markets”.
In addition to Perm companies, enterprises from different regions of the country - Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Samara, Ufa, Izhevsk, Yekaterinburg, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Moscow - are ready to provide their production capacities today. Companies and organizations such as Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, VEB Ventures, VEB Engineering, ROSKOSMOS and ROSTEKH State Corporation corporations expressed their interest in the project.
The National Technology Initiative (NTI) is a long-term comprehensive program to create conditions for ensuring the leadership of Russian companies in new high-tech markets that will determine the structure of the global economy in the next 15–20 years.
Within the framework of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation “On the implementation of the National Technological Initiative”, the NTI Project Support Fund provides funding for the following instruments: “NTI Technological Breakthrough”, “NTI Export”, “NTI Spin-off” and “NTI Infrastructure”. Depending on the support instrument, the company may qualify for financing in the form of grants (subsidies) up to 155 million rubles and in the form of investments - up to 495 million rubles. The project office for the implementation of STI in Perm Region has been operating on the basis of the Investment Development Agency since 2019.
Virtual Production Systems LLC was established at the beginning of 2018 specifically for the Virtual Factory project. The project team for several years led the development of the concept, tested hypotheses, technologies, and led preparations for the launch of the project. Today, the company today, together with Mechel Service and PEG LLC, creates a unified environment for the procurement of materials for network production.
Together with the International Certification Holding IMQ, it is working on the development and advanced harmonization of standards for the Virtual Factory and digital certification of production facilities.
