Perm region is one of the most economically and industrially developed regions of Russia. Dozens of national and international (Metro, Henkel, Sostmeier, Knauf, Solenis, John Crane) companies making good progress in the region have already had the chance to appreciate its industrial potential, resource base, transportation accessibility and rich cultural heritage. 

The region accounts for the production of circa 20% of world’s potash fertilizers, one-third of Russia’s optical fibre cable and one-fifth of its paper. Characterized by a mature digital economy (top 10 regions in Russia), the region launched a number of high-potential projects to digitalize industry and to develop smart city services.
